History

Zloutch used to be a popular game among pirates and sailors during the 16th c. They used to bet alcohol, money - those famous pieces of Eight - or even kicks in the butt.

The gain/loss repartition is done as following:
If you are 6 players: the winner gives 6 shots/kicks and receives none of them, the 2nd gives five and takes one, the 3rd one give 4 and receives two and so on until the loser who takes 6 shots/kicks.

This game was a good way to kill the time when drifting on sea while waiting for a Spanish galleon to assail...


Table of Rules

The winner is the first player to gather 10,000 Pieces of Eight (Spanish currency used in the 16th Century by pirates as their reference currency to trade in the Caribbean islands).
